Experience
Q: What is it?
A: We are a residential (home) haunted house. This means we are not professionals and our operation takes place entirely in a residential garage.
Q: How long does it take to get through the house?
A: The walkthrough takes anywhere from 2-4 minutes to get through.
Q: Is it suitable for kids?
A: While many younger guests have visited over the years, we strongly recommend ages 13+. However, we rely on parental discretion to determine whether or not their child will enjoy the experience. Children under the age of 13 must be accompanied by an adult while walking through the house.
Q: What are your hours and what is your location?
A: Please see https://horrortheaterdenver.com/location/ for our hours and location.
Q: Are the actors allowed to touch me?
A: The live actors are not allowed to touch any guest. However, the house itself can and will interact with guests. This includes blasts of air, ankle brushing, water, fog, and vibrating platforms among other effects.
Q: Do I need to sign a waiver for myself or my child?
A: You do not need to sign a waiver for yourself or your child. By entering the house, you acknowledge the risks associated with entering a haunted attraction. Additional signage will be provided during your visit.
Q: How long is the wait?
A: Through our new ticketing system, we are hoping to cut down on wait times. However, we are a ’boutique’ haunted house, meaning we try to give every group their own scare experience without running into another group. This can lead to longer wait times.
Q: How many people can I bring?
A: You may bring as many people as you have tickets for. However, only 3-4 victims per group will be admitted into the house at a time.
Q: Are you accessible?
A: Given that we are a residential haunted house and our space is extremely limited, we unfortunately cannot accommodate wheelchairs/mobility vehicles at this time.
Q: Are there restrooms available?
A: Unfortunately, we do not have publicly accessible restrooms. Please visit one of the establishments down the street or use the restroom before your visit.
Q: Do you have a covered/heated waiting area?
A: We do not have a covered/heating waiting area. Please dress appropriately for the weather.
Tickets and Cost
Q: How can I buy tickets?
A: Due to increased demand, tickets are required. Tickets can be obtained here and are free of charge. Please download your tickets before attending. A separate line is provided for guests with RIP tickets (skip-the-line tickets). These special tickets are only given out on our social media channels. There is no way to purchase these tickets. NOTE: We are still evaluating the ticketing system and will assess if we need tickets for our remaining operating days, including Halloween.
Q: Do I need a ticket to attend?
A: Yes. Unlike in years past where we have operated on a first-come, first-served basis, our popularity has grown to the point where we must control the number of people that can experience the attraction.
Q: How early can I show up to enter the haunted house?
A: Please only enter the line during your ticketed time, unless you are in the first time slot of the night. For example, if you have chosen the 7:30pm time slot, you would enter the line at 7:30pm .We cannot accept early admission as there is nowhere for you to wait.
Q: Can I still use my tickets if I show up late/on another day?
A: We will do our best to accommodate late comers. However, tickets cannot be used on another day if you cannot make it.
Q: How much does it cost to experience?
A: The only price of admission is your SOUL, but monetary donations are gladly accepted.
Q: Is there a recommended donation amount?
A: We leave this entirely up to the guests. If you enjoyed your experience, consider donating more. If you cannot afford to donate, you are still very much welcome to enjoy the house.
Q: What kinds of donations do you accept?
A: We gladly accept cash, Venmo, Cash App, and Square payments. For Square payments, you may elect to use the payment link provided to manually input your card or you can tap/insert your card in our secure point of service system.
Vendors, Actors, Ticket Requests
Q: Are you hiring scareactors?
A: At this time, we are not hiring scareactors.
Q: Are you looking to hire food/entertainment vendors?
A: At this time, we are not hiring food/entertainment vendors.
Q: Can you donate tickets to our cause/organization/charity/fundraiser?
A: As we do not charge admission and do not widely distribute physical tickets, we cannot donate tickets to any cause/organization/charity/fundraiser, however, we still encourage you to stop by!
